Arriving in November.
When Messrs Honda and Fujisawa first came up with the Super Cub in the late fifties, I bet they would have been chuffed to bits if someone had told them that the model would still be going strong 30 years later. The fact that variations of the Cub are still being produced to this day would have blow their minds.
There are good reasons for this, however. The main one being that the Super Cub is an extraordinarily well-designed motorcycle and we have a brilliant example right here.
This is a 1986 C50 CDI (round headlight). It is the first year the model went to 12-volt electrics, which was a significant improvement on the 6V from previously.
This one comes in a lovely and somewhat rare smokey-blue colour. It has twin racks, a fully enclosed chain and our colleagues in Japan have fitted it with new tyres.
38 years old – so only two years from becoming tax- and MOT-exempt – but with only 14,226km, or 8,834 miles on the clock and in lovely condition all over.
This bike can be reserved with a 30% (£500) deposit. More photos and video will be taken when it arrives. The price is for the bike itself with all duty paid. UK registration can be arranged for £165.
When the bike arrives we will film a walkaround video and take photos and send them to you, if you are not happy with the bike for any reason, we will refund your deposit in full at this stage.
