Due to arrive in November.
I wonder if, when Kawasaki launched the first bike called Ninja back in 1984, the directors of Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki looked witheringly at their marketing teams and said, “Why didn’t you think of that?” A great name for a great bike.
The Ninja series are all mighty capable and fun to ride sports bikes but the 250R arguably stands out as being both accessible to novices and fun for more experienced riders. The power is very smooth and responsive on the throttle, there is good low to mid-range torque and it is compact.
What we have here is a very cool Special Edition EX250K from 2011 in pearl white and ebony. The monochrome theme is highlighted with subtle flashes of red on the plastics and pinstripe on the black alloy wheels. Along with the glossy black on the fairing, there is matt black below the tank in front of the seat and a matt black and chrome exhaust. Fully faired and with powerful petal disc brakes, it looks ultra sleek and rides beautifully.
Other than a small split in the plastics by the front indicator, it is in stunning condition and has low mileage. This really is a lot of bike for the money, and a Japanese Domestic Market Special Edition to boot, making it even rarer.
This bike can be reserved with a 30% (£1,000) deposit. The price is for the bike itself with the taxes paid. UK registration can be arranged for £165. When the bike arrives we will film a walkaround video and take photos and send them to you, if you are not happy with the bike for any reason, we will refund your deposit in full at this stage.
