Description

The road legal miniature sportsbike, Honda’s NSR50, was first released in Japan in 1987 around the same time as Suzuki’s Gag bikes and the Yamaha YSR50. The NSR was and is the most sought after of the three. The AC08E engine is a horizontal single cylinder water-cooled 2-stroke with a reported power output of 7.2ps. This may not sound like much but when you are that close to the ground it can feel a whole lot more.

One third the size of the NSR500 factory model but with all the heart and just as much fun packed into its diminutive frame.

Earlier NSR’s came out in Rothman’s colours. What we have here is a very special example. This is the 1999 Mick Doohan Special Edition in Repsol colours. We believe only 2,000 of the Repsol colour NSR50’s were produced and the it is the ultimate version. This one has only done 5,796km or 3,599 miles and is in exceptional condition.

Truly a bike for the collector. This would look perfectly at home amongst a collection of bigger machines, sitting proudly in your living room or flying around the track. Quality engineering in miniature, a special decal package and historic significance.

This bike can be reserved with a 30% (£2,200) deposit.

This bike has been put through the NOVA system. Registration has been applied for, this includes the Dating Certificate, MOT, Registration, UK log book and age related number plate. The price includes registration.

We can deliver, please confirm your postcode for a quote.  Delivery/Collection can take place while waiting for the log book to arrive from the DVLA or once the log book has been received.  The motorcycle cannot be ridden on the public highway until the bike is registered and fitted with its number plate. Road tax & insurance are your responsibility as the new keeper.

A deposit of 30% will secure the bike, we would not ask for further payment until the bike is ready for collection or delivery. If the customer cancels we will refund 50% of the deposit.
